LIAM'S JOURNEY

This will be my last post for a while. I have made the decision that after Liam’s CT scan on the 1st of March I will stop updating this blog.

The blog initially started as a way for me to keep everyone informed of Liams progress through his treatment, both while we were staying at CHOC, and on our return home. Somewhere along the line it changed to a place where I could leave Liam a lasting record of this challenging journey he has been on. My hope is that he will come back to it in years to come and be amazed at what he endured and survived. Who knows maybe he will even show it to his kids! I also have a written record of Matts journey from diagnosis to his passing which I will add together with this and keep it for both the children in the future.

I am not sure how many people are still reading this but to those of you who are – thank you so much for the support over the last 300 days (hard to believe we are nearly at a year) I could not have gotten through this without you. We have had some tough times but have come out the other side and every day that goes by the better things look.

I will update as soon as we get the results from the scan, and will then sign off. You can however still follow our progress with the funrazor at the new blog - http://funrazor09.livejournal.com/

Becs, Liam and Ashleigh,
I would just like to say THANK YOU so much for sharing your journey with us all over the last 300 days (bet it feels like a lot longer than that!!) You are an inspiration for us all and I look forward to catching up on the funrazor journey as time passes. I hope you can all just relax and enjoy life for a long long while, may your health continue to improve Liam – we are all thinking of you.
Becs I will be in touch when the new arrival joins us (26 weeks now) and would love to keep in touch via email when you get the time!! All the very best for your exams too Becs – I hope everything turns out the way you wish.
May you all have a healthy, happy long future – any new developments in your lives you will have to keep us up to date with (ie any pending joining of families etc etc!! Hint! Hint! (Jasper!!??)

Hi Bec, Steve, & Family,
Well its almost a year since both our families lives turned upside down, Wonderful to see Phill & Liam doing so well after going through such an ordeal,I still find it hard to think about those tough times and clearly have blocked some of the days out!Becs you did Famously and I’m pleased you have Steve’s wonderful support.
